The Role

• Fabricate and install pipework systems using various materials (copper, cuni, carbon steel, stainless steel) for both large and small-bore applications.
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes.
• Install utilities aboard ships, including sanitary systems like sinks and showers.
• Assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure project timelines and accuracy.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company procedures.

What You'll Need

• A Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification).
• Experience in pipe manufacture and installation, proficient with relevant tools and equipment.
• Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements with consistent application.
• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
