The Role
• Fabricating and installing extensive pipework systems using various materials including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
• Utilising a range of hand and mechanical tools for cutting, bending, welding, and assembling pipes and fittings.
• Installing essential utilities within vessels, such as sinks, showers, and toilets.
• Assembling and installing fittings, valves, and associated components in strict adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborating effectively with other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Maintaining meticulous records of all work undertaken and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
What You'll Need
• Possession of a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification).
• Demonstrated experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, proficient with industry-standard tools and equipment.
• Solid understanding of pipefitting methodologies, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements, with consistent application on the job.
• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
