The Role • Fabricating and installing pipework systems using various materials including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel. • Utilizing hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes. • Performing installations of utilities aboard ships, such as sinks, showers, and toilets. • Assembling fittings, valves, and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications. • Collaborating with other trades to ensure project completion in a timely and accurate manner. • Adhering to strict safety regulations and company procedures. What You'll Need • A Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification). • Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, with proficiency in relevant tools and equipment for major projects. • Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications. • Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements with consistent application on the job. • Experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
