The Role • Fabricate and install pipework systems using various materials including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel. • Utilize a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, and welding pipes. • Install utilities aboard vessels. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications for precise installation. • Collaborate with other trades to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to stringent safety regulations and company procedures. What You'll Need • Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification). • Proven experience in pipe manufacture and installation within industrial or commercial environments. • Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques. • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications. • Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements. • Experience working on major projects is essential.
