The Role

• Provide ship structure and design analyses for shipbuilding programs.
• Conduct studies and establish ship design products and specifications.
• Perform evaluations of ship performance.
• Work on new and ongoing shipbuilding programs, supporting analysis and oversight of technical and design requirements.
• Apply strong naval architecture and engineering fundamentals to complex projects.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant engineering or architecture experience.
• Proven expertise in Naval Architecture.
• Experience with the DOD 5000 process and guidelines.
• An interim or active Secret security clearance.
