The Role

• Provide support for the analysis and evaluation of technical and design requirements for shipbuilding programs.
• Oversee the evaluation of performance for new and ongoing shipbuilding programs.
• Conduct ship structure and design analyses.
• Assist in the study and establishment of ship design products and specifications.
• Offer expertise with surface and undersea shipbuilding programs.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Naval Architecture.
• Expertise with the DOD 5000 process and guidelines.
• An interim or active Secret security clearance.
• A Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering (preferred).
• A Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred).
