37 employers that answer at least half their applicants
Ranked by the share of applications that got a reply: an interview invitation, a request or a decision. Each employer had 10 or more applications from Haystack's AI agent.
No live roles today
Silence is the usual answer.
A decision or a next step, from any employer measured. Applications sent at least two weeks ago.
No decision, no request, nothing. So don't wait on one application before sending the next.
The median, when a reply comes. Interview invitations and rejections both count.
Measured across applications Haystack's AI agent submitted on employers' own forms, from the replies that reached candidates' Haystack inboxes. Employers on Workable are left out for now.
So send more applications, without the forms.

I would 100% recommend Haystack. When I've been talking to people who are looking for new roles, I've said to use Haystack.

Haystack definitely exceeded expectations and was much more streamlined than using a normal job board, or going through a recruiter.

I applied for the job and literally the next day Tom from Fuzzy reached out. It was 30 days from starting on Haystack.

Employers that reply: your questions
Which companies actually reply to job applications?
Of the 95 employers Haystack has sent 10 or more applications to, 37 replied to at least half of them. The most likely to reply are Chip (100%), Parity (100%), Monzo (100%), DoiT (100%), FlightStory (100%). The full list is on this page and is updated every day.
How long do employers take to reply to a job application?
Across every employer measured, 40% of applications got a reply. When a reply comes, half arrive within about 3 days of applying. Many applications never get one, so it pays to keep applying while you wait.
Does a rejection count as a reply?
Yes. A reply here is any decision or next step the employer sends: an interview invitation, a request for more information, or a rejection. A no is still an answer, and it beats silence. The automatic "we've received your application" email does not count.
How is this list made?
From applications Haystack's AI agent submitted through each employer's own application form, sent between two weeks and four months ago, and the emails employers sent back to the candidate's Haystack inbox. An employer needs at least 10 applications to be measured. Employers that use Workable are left out for now, because until late October 2026 their replies went to the email on the candidate's resume, where Haystack could not count them. Employers that answered fewer than half are not named.
How can I get more replies to my applications?
Apply to more roles that genuinely fit, soon after they open, with a resume that matches the role. Haystack Auto Apply does the slow part: you pick the jobs, and Haystack's AI agent fills in and submits each employer's form, then every reply lands in one inbox.
Apply where they answer.
Let the agent fill in the forms.
