The Role

• Provide support for analysis, evaluation, and oversight of technical and design requirements for shipbuilding programs.
• Conduct ship structure and design analyses.
• Study and establish ship design products and specifications.
• Evaluate ship performance.
• Offer expertise with surface and undersea shipbuilding programs.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Naval Architecture.
• Experience and expertise within the DOD 5000 process and guidelines.
• An interim or active Secret clearance is required.
• A Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering is a plus.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus.
