The Role
- Responsible for schematic entry, layout, and release of printed circuit boards for RF, Microwave, and Millimeter-Wave products.
- Create 2D and 3D models of printed circuit boards using CAD software such as Altium and AutoCAD.
- Develop professional schematics synchronized with BOMs and physical layouts, requiring minimal engineer input.
- Communicate design and layout challenges based on extensive experience and knowledge.
- Generate manufacturing drawings and documentation, and update design rules as needed.
- Lead peer reviews of design and layout concepts and strategies, and coordinate project plans with management.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or GED with 9+ years of relevant work experience, or a B.S. in engineering with 5+ years of experience.
- Proven experience with CAD platforms like Altium, PADS, Xpedition, Eagle, KiCAD, AutoCAD, or similar.
- A genuine passion for PCB design and a strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices.
- Detail-oriented with a critical focus on quality, along with a basic understanding of electronic circuits.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience and strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations.
