PCB Designer - Senior/Principal | Jamul, CA, United States | Hybrid | $86,000 - $166,000

This employer is a globally recognised semiconductor manufacturer serving critical sectors like Data Centers, Telecommunications, and Industrial/Defense applications. With a legacy spanning over 75 years, they are renowned for their deep application expertise and commitment to quality and environmental standards across numerous international facilities.

The Role

  • Schematic entry, layout, and release of printed circuit boards for RF, Microwave, and Millimeter-Wave products.
  • Create 2D and 3D PCB models using Altium and AutoCAD.
  • Develop schematics synchronized with BOMs and physical layouts, requiring minimal engineer intervention.
  • Communicate design and layout challenges based on extensive experience.
  • Generate manufacturing drawings and documentation.
  • Lead peer reviews of design and layout concepts.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience, OR a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience with CAD platforms such as Altium, PADS, Xpedition, Eagle, KiCAD, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • A strong passion for PCB design and a deep understanding of drafting standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a critical focus on quality.
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits (digital and analog) and ability to perform basic electrical measurements.
  • Experience with ITAR regulations, requiring U.S. Citizenship, National, or Permanent Resident status.
