Job Description:

• ü We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong financial background and hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• ü The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing financial data, monitoring business performance, evaluating costs, identifying financial trends, and supporting strategic business decisions.
• ü This individual will work closely with Finance, Project Management, and Business teams to provide financial insights, improve financial processes, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, including budgets, forecasts, expenses, revenue, and overall business performance.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
• Track and analyze project costs, operational expenses, billing rates, margins, and financial performance.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
• Identify financial variances, cost inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Perform financial modeling, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
• Work with Finance and Business teams to reconcile actual expenses against budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance across projects, departments, and business units.
• Gather business requirements, document business processes, and recommend process improvements.
• Translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare management reports and presentations highlighting financial trends and business performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Experience with financial planning, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex financial data.
• Experience with project financials, operational expenses, billing rates, and profit margins.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
• SQL skills for data extraction and analysis are preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
