The Role

• Provide managerial and technical leadership for an electronics design team supporting production programs.
• Take ownership of work package management, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities.
• Ensure the engineering team effectively supports production program demands.
• Maintain technical governance and ensure adherence to company processes.
• Lead cost and performance trade-off analyses.

What You'll Need

• Proven leadership and management experience of engineering teams throughout a full product development lifecycle.
• Experience with cost and planning management tools, optimizing solutions, and understanding product design and work package control.
• Experience in identifying improvements to working practices, team skill development, and focusing on failure reduction.
• Familiarity with safety-critical systems and requirements management tools like DOORS or work-package management tools like MSP, JIRA is desirable.
