The Role

• Provide managerial and technical leadership to a team of skilled hardware engineers supporting production programs.
• Manage work packages, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities.
• Ensure the engineering team effectively supports production program demand.
• Maintain technical governance and adherence to company processes.
• Lead cost and performance trade-offs for hardware solutions.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in leadership and management of engineering teams within a full product development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cost and planning management tools, solution optimization, and product design control.
• Experience in identifying improvements to working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction.
• Familiarity with safety-critical systems and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, MSP, JIRA) is desirable.
