Job Title: Catering & Event Sales Coordinator.
Company- Burma Superstar - SF.

Wage : $25+/hr boe + Bonus.
Reports to: Director of Finance & Operations.
Time- Part-time with potential for full-time.

Job Overview

The Catering & Events Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting with catering, private dining, and event sales and administrative work. This role includes sales outreach, client relationship management, and departmental organization and execution. Success in this role is measured by detailed organization and follow-up, excellent inter-departmental communication, flawless event execution, and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and leads to onboard customers before passing off to the Catering & Event Supervisor. Conduct site tours and present the restaurant’s catering and private dining offerings. Provide organizational efficiency, while making sure no detail is missed. Create customized proposals, quotes, and contracts that align with client needs and restaurant standards. Serve as the initial point of contact for clients during the planning process, ensuring all event details are clear.

Help organize and coordinate event logistics (timelines, menus, floor plans, special requests) with the Catering & Events Supervisor and restaurant operations team. Follow up with clients post-event to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Help track and report on sales activity, pipeline status, and event revenue performance. Assist in consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly catering and event sales goals. Represent the restaurant at networking events, trade shows, and community functions to drive awareness and leads.

Requirements

Experience working in DTC & B2B sales and/or the catering/private events industry. (Preferred).
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work as part of a team.

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Self-Motivated and driven to excel.
