Application Support Analyst

Application Support Analyst | Teesside | up to £55,000 | Hybrid

Are you an experienced Application Support or Business Systems professional with a passion for improving systems, processes and business performance?

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Application Support/Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in supporting and enhancing critical business applications across a fast-paced operational environment.

You'll be responsible for supporting, configuring, and developing key business systems, working closely with stakeholders to identify improvements, resolve issues and optimise processes. You'll manage application administration, user access, reporting, testing, documentation, and liaise with third-party software vendors to ensure system reliability and performance.

What We're Looking For

• Experience supporting and administering business-critical applications.
• Knowledge of ERP, rental management, field service, logistics, construction, manufacturing, or similar operational systems.
• Experience with MCS Rental Management, or a similar business management platform.
• Exposure to Sage 200 or comparable finance/accounting systems.
• Strong business process understanding and analytical skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, troubleshooting issues, and delivering system improvements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Desirable Skills

• SQL, Power BI, APIs, integrations and data management.
• Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Software implementation, user training, and change management experience.
• Experience within plant hire or rental sectors.
