Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide dependable technical assistance for end users in Wilmington, Delaware. This Long-term Contract position focuses on resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and operating system issues while delivering a positive support experience. The role is ideal for someone who can diagnose common technical problems efficiently, manage service requests with care, and support a stable Microsoft Windows environment.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line technical support for desktop, laptop, and Windows-related issues reported by end users. Investigate and resolve service desk tickets promptly, ensuring accurate updates and clear communication throughout the support process. Support user account access and directory-related tasks within Active Directory, including routine administration and troubleshooting. Diagnose basic hardware, software, and operating system problems and apply practical solutions to restore productivity.

Maintain and support Microsoft Windows 10 devices to ensure reliable performance across the user environment. Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues to improve service quality and knowledge sharing. Escalate more complex technical matters when necessary while coordinating effectively with other support teams. Requirements
Hands-on experience providing help desk or desktop support in a Windows-based environment. Working knowledge of Active Directory for user access support and routine administrative tasks.

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft Windows troubleshooting. Ability to perform basic technical diagnostics for hardware, software, and end-user issues. Experience managing and resolving service desk tickets in a structured support setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to users.
