The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Utilize hostlers, top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes for precise container stacking and relocation.
• Perform critical pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel to manage container moves and maintain efficient workflow.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts and weekends, based on union seniority.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
