Job Summary
The role will support the AOC Court Information Systems (CIS) Division and focus on developing, maintaining and supporting relational databases for court management applications. The DBA will work with Oracle and SQL Server environments and support database architecture, performance, security, backup/recovery and application systems.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years Database Administration experience.
- 5+ years Database Design experience.
- 3+ years Oracle RAC experience.
- 5+ years SQL Server experience.
- 7+ years Backup, Recovery and Database Performance Tuning.
- 5+ years Database Security / Access Control / Database Integrity.
- 5+ years Linux Server administration.
- 5+ years Windows OS experience.
- 3+ years UI/UX Design experience.
- 3+ years Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Crystal Reports.
- 2+ years Jasper experience.
- 3+ years Business Intelligence experience.
- Strong PL/SQL experience.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, .NET Framework, XML, JSON, C/C++, Pro*C and Perl.
- DevOps and Agile methodology experience.
- Strong database development and administration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Oracle database administration, creation, monitoring and maintenance.
- Administer Oracle RAC and SQL Server environments.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Manage database backup and recovery procedures.
- Develop and maintain database security and access controls.
- Plan database storage and capacity requirements.
- Create tablespaces, tables, views, indexes and other database objects.
- Apply Oracle database and application upgrades and patches.
- Troubleshoot database and application issues.
- Support application development and database design.
- Assist with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Crystal Reports development.
- Maintain database and application documentation.
- Support production environments and application users.
- Work with support teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in Agile/DevOps activities and continuous improvement.
Preferred / Additional Skills:
- Cloud technologies.
- Arkansas court systems and court case-management practices.
- Oracle/SQL Server certifications.
- Database administration in Linux and Windows.
- Experience with Oracle application servers.
- Strong database/application development methodology knowledge.
- Experience supporting public-sector applications.
