Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer
Location: Holtsville, NY (Hybrid 3 Days/Week Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing to support enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Playwright or Selenium, Java or Python, JUnit or PyTest, and modern DevOps practices. This role involves developing automation frameworks, API testing, browser/mobile testing, CI/CD integration, and collaborating closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
• Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and requirement traceability.
• Execute Functional, System, Integration, Regression, Acceptance, and Performance testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to understand business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure QA best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect reporting, and issue tracking.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Work with DevOps teams on infrastructure, automation, and release management.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing in physical lab environments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong experience with Playwright OR Selenium.
• Strong programming skills in Java OR Python.
• Experience with JUnit OR PyTest.
• Manual and Automated Testing.

• CI/CD experience.
