Job Description

Role: QA Lead / QA Manager

Location: Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, or Denver, CO - Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA activities across multiple software projects.
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and testing processes.
Lead functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities.
Design and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
Perform and support API testing using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
Work closely with development, DevOps, product, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
Write and execute SQL queries for database validation and backend testing.
Utilize Python and Java for test automation and scripting as required.
Develop and execute API and service-level automated tests using Karate.
Work with Ignite and other relevant enterprise technologies as required.
Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution.
Provide QA status reports, metrics, risk assessments, and project updates to stakeholders.
Mentor QA engineers and provide technical guidance on testing and automation best practices.
Ensure testing standards, quality processes, and documentation are consistently followed.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
Previous experience as a QA Lead, QA Manager, Test Lead, or Senior QA Engineer.
Mandatory: Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Selenium.
Experience with API Testing and automation.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Strong SQL and database testing experience.
Experience with Python and Java.
Experience with Karate for API automation/testing.
Experience with Ignite is preferred/required based on project needs.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
