Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA engineers in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies.
• Define and execute test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Selenium, JavaScript, Java, Python, and Karate Framework.
• Perform API testing using REST/SOAP services and validate backend integrations.
• Design and execute SQL queries for database validation and data integrity testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD DevOps pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Identify, track, and resolve software defects while ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor test execution, quality metrics, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with banking industry standards, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Support performance improvements in automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Work with IGNITE testing methodology/framework (preferred).

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead or QA Manager role.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Karate Framework for API and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with SQL for database validation.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, ALM).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Knowledge of IGNITE framework/methodology.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, or Agile certifications are preferred.
