Government Capture Manager - Defense Manufacturing

Saab is seeking a Capture Manager to lead strategic pursuits in our manufacturing-focused defense and security portfolio. In this role, you will own the capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award, shaping winning strategies for complex air, land, and naval solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop competitive pricing and value propositions, and build strong relationships with government and industry customers. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capture efforts for complex defense manufacturing pursuits from opportunity identification through award
• Develop and execute win strategies, value propositions, and pricing approaches aligned with Saab's portfolio and customer needs
• Drive capture plans, gate reviews, and competitive assessments to position Saab for long-term program success
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, operations, and legal to shape compliant, compelling solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government and industry customers, partners, and key stakeholders
• Lead capture-related risk, schedule, and budget management, ensuring timely decision-making and issue resolution
• Translate customer requirements into clear capture objectives, discriminators, and proposal themes
• Use market, competitor, and customer intelligence to inform bid/no-bid decisions and investment recommendations
• Support proposal development, including strategy, storylines, pricing inputs, and color reviews
• Champion Saab's innovative, mission-driven culture while mentoring teams in capture best practices
