Senior Government Capture Manager - Defense & Security Manufacturing

SAAB is seeking a Capture Manager to lead strategic defense and security manufacturing pursuits in a global, high-tech environment. You will own the capture lifecycle-from opportunity identification and customer engagement to solution shaping and proposal leadership-for complex air, land, naval, and cyber systems. In this mission-driven role, you will collaborate closely with engineering, program, and finance teams to craft competitive, compliant, and innovative offerings that advance safety and long-term societal security. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capture efforts for strategic defense manufacturing opportunities, from opportunity identification through award
• Analyze customer needs, requirements, and competitive landscape to shape winning capture strategies
• Partner with sales, engineering, and program teams to develop technical, schedule, and pricing solutions
• Develop and manage capture plans, win themes, and value propositions aligned with Saab's portfolio
• Coordinate proposal development activities, including gate reviews, color teams, and key deliverables
• Build and maintain relationships with government and industry stakeholders to support opportunity development
• Monitor pipeline, capture metrics, and risks, providing regular status reports to leadership
• Ensure compliance with defense, security, and export control regulations throughout capture activities
• Support contract negotiations and transition from capture to program execution
