SEN / SEND Tutor | Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated educators to join a community-focused organization committed to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role

• Provide tailored Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND/SEMH needs (KS1-KS5).
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring in person, remotely, or through a hybrid model.
• Plan and report on lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with schools and local authorities to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Ability to work in the UK.
