SEN / SEND Tutor | Maidstone, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated SEN/SEND Tutors to join an impactful organization that transforms the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities. This is an opportunity to work flexibly and make a real difference in your community, supporting vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work towards raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning challenges.
• Engage on a self-employed basis, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching core subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
