SEN / SEND Tutor | Rainham, Essex, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated SEN/SEND Tutors to join an impact-driven community that is transforming the lives of young people within local schools and authorities. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide flexible, trauma-informed support to learners with diverse needs, contributing to a significant positive change.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with local authorities and schools to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check and two professional references (assistance provided if needed).
• Right to work in the UK.
