Network Support Engineer

Role: Network Support Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Hybrid / Onsite in Morgan Hill, CA for 2 days/week - Hours of operation are 6 am – 6 pm PST

Scope:

We are seeking a network-minded resource with a CCNA-level understanding of networking to provide onsite support. This individual will be replacing a full-time engineer who recently left and will have an escalation path to senior-level engineers when additional assistance is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite network support and maintenance.
• Perform network upgrades, refreshes, and moves/adds/changes (MACD).
• Support day-to-day network operations and troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to senior-level resources as needed.
• Assist with maintenance activities across the network environment.

Hours of Operation

• Standard operating hours are 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST.
• Network upgrades, changes, and maintenance activities may occasionally be performed during early evening hours.

Skills Must Have

• CCNA-level networking knowledge.
• General understanding of network infrastructure and support.
• Experience working with network hardware, including:
• Cisco
• Meraki
• Palo Alto
