Technical Support Engineer II

RESPONSIBILITIES

A client with Kforce is seeking a Technical Support Engineer II to join their team in Charlotte, NC.

Overview

The client is looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer II to support conferences and live events. This is a combination role. On a typical day you keep conference rooms working, respond to the ServiceNow video conferencing queue, and run proactive room sweeps. On event days you plan, set up, and run live and hybrid events, from leadership meetings to customer and partner sessions. The work is visible. Much of it supports senior leaders and external guests, where there is no second take.

We want someone who is calm when something breaks in front of an audience, methodical about preventing that in the first place, and comfortable talking to a business partner about what is and is not possible. You will report to the Manager of Videoconferencing and Event Support and work alongside the broader AV operations, events, and network operations teams. You will also partner with the Event Technology team on broadcast studio and company-wide events.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma/GED
• 5+ years of experience as an AV Technician required
• Prior experience with Zoom Rooms, audio boards, AV switching required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
