Role Description: The Construction Office Administrator (with Estimating & Procurement) is a full-time/Partime, on-site role based in Wimbledon. This role supports day-to-day office operations, including managing correspondence, filing, scheduling, and maintaining project documentation. The position involves assisting with estimating by collecting supplier quotations, preparing cost breakdowns, updating price databases, and supporting tender submissions. The role also includes procurement activities such as tracking deliveries, managing records of materials and equipment, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors. The administrator will liaise with project managers, site teams, and clients, ensure accurate data entry into project and accounting systems, and help maintain smooth communication across the business, ensuring all health and safety documents are up to date

Qualifications

  • Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills to manage daily office tasks, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency with Office Equipment and relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, cloud-based document management).
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Experience or strong interest in construction estimating and procurement, including working with quotations, cost tracking, and purchase orders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working on-site in a construction office environment in Wimbledon and collaborating closely with project and site teams.
  • Previous experience in construction, property, or a related sector is an asset.
  • Relevant education or training in administration, business, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
