The Role

• Lead sourcing and contracting solutions for a major, multi-year investment programme.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and liabilities within procurement and contract strategies.
• Develop and manage procurement plans to align with stakeholder requirements.
• Provide commercial and supply chain support to delivery programmes.
• Lead supplier negotiations, focusing on commercial aspects to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Ensure life cycle costing principles are integrated into procurement processes, including Make vs. Buy decisions.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in supply chain/commercial roles within the infrastructure and construction industry, with a focus on major project procurement.
• Experience leading procurements based on specifications for design, manufacture, and build projects.
• Strong understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy, and strategy.
• Demonstrated experience in contract and supplier performance management.
• Ability to contribute to bidding activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and budgets.
