The Role

• Develop and manage robust procurement strategies for a major 10-year+ investment programme.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and liabilities within procurement and contract strategies.
• Produce and manage procurement plans aligned with stakeholder requirements.
• Provide essential commercial and supply chain support to delivery programmes.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, focusing on commercial aspects to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Contribute to bidding activities, ensuring alignment with budget and business objectives.
• Incorporate life cycle costing principles and support Make v Buy decisions.

What You'll Need

• Experience in supply chain/commercial roles within the infrastructure and construction industry, particularly procurement for major projects.
• Proven experience leading procurements based on specifications for design, manufacture, and build.
• Solid understanding of business processes, procurement techniques, policy, and strategy.
• Demonstrated experience in contract and supplier performance management.
• Ability to integrate life cycle costing principles into pre-ITT processes.
