The Role

• Develop and manage robust procurement strategies for a major, 10-year+ investment program.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and liabilities within procurement and contract strategies.
• Create and oversee procurement plans to effectively capture stakeholder requirements.
• Provide critical commercial and supply chain support to complex delivery programs.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers on commercial aspects to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Contribute to bidding activities, ensuring alignment with budget and business objectives.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in supply chain/commercial roles within the infrastructure and construction industry, with a focus on major project procurement.
• Demonstrated experience leading procurements based on specifications for design, manufacture, and build.
• Solid understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy, and strategy.
• Experience in contract and supplier performance management.
• Ability to consider life cycle costing principles and contribute to Make vs. Buy decisions.
