Service Technician I | Queens, NY, United States | On-site

The Role

  • Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance on customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve application and system issues, working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize system availability and proactively identify faults.
  • Perform routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application settings.
  • Document all system modifications accurately through a digital change control system.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing for all upgrades and major modifications before deployment.

What You'll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proven familiarity with installing and troubleshooting low voltage electronic equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
  • Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
