Service Alarm Technician | Orlando, FL, United States | On-site
This employer is a leading systems integrator and alarm monitoring company, part of a globally recognized protective services provider. They specialize in delivering comprehensive security solutions, including video, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems, to protect clients' people, customers, and assets.
The Role
- Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
- Diagnose and resolve application and system issues, working both independently and collaboratively.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maximize system availability and identify potential faults.
- Execute routine configuration changes and document all system modifications through a digital change control system.
- Conduct pre-deployment testing of upgrades and major modifications, and perform on-site installations.
- Produce technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences on system deployment.
What You'll Need
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with installing and troubleshooting low-voltage equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
- Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
