Senior Capture Manager - Defense Manufacturing

SAAB is seeking a Capture Manager to lead strategic pursuits in our manufacturing-focused defense and security portfolio. In this role, you will shape and execute capture strategies for complex air, land, and naval opportunities, driving win themes, pricing, and proposal direction. You'll partner closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to deliver compliant, compelling bids. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capture efforts for complex manufacturing and defense opportunities with government and commercial customers
• Develop and execute capture strategies, win themes, and value propositions aligned to Saab's portfolio and customer needs
• Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to shape opportunity positioning and pricing strategy
• Drive gate reviews, capture plans, and bid/no-bid recommendations with executive stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to develop compliant, compelling proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and suppliers in target markets
• Oversee proposal development schedules, resource plans, and risk registers to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions
• Support negotiations, teaming agreements, and transition from capture to program execution
• Track capture performance metrics, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all capture and proposal activities comply with defense, export control, and corporate policies
