-Senior AX Dynamics Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Commerce, and related modules.
• Manage user provisioning, security roles, permissions, and compliance controls.
• Monitor application health, performance, batch jobs, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, environment, and data-related issues.
• Coordinate and support monthly service releases, deployments, and code promotions through Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Plan and execute D365 updates, patches, hotfixes, and evergreen releases.
• Manage production and non-production environments, including environment refreshes and configuration management.
• Support data management activities, imports, exports, and integrations.
• Maintain system documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand issues, gather requirements, and recommend solutions.
• Work closely with development teams, vendors, and support partners for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Monitor and support business-critical integrations with internal and third-party applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, and adherence to SLAs.

Azure Administration (Secondary Responsibilities)

• Support Azure resources utilized by D365 environments and integrations.
• Monitor Azure services including:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Storage Accounts
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Service Bus
• Assist with Azure identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID).
• Support monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Participate in cloud infrastructure reviews, security assessments, and optimization initiatives.
• Assist with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Azure automation tools.
• Coordinate certificate management, connectivity troubleshooting, and environment health monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Commerce.
• Strong knowledge of:
• D365 F&O Administration
• Lifecycle Services (LCS)
• Security Roles & Permissions
• Batch Job Management
• Environment Management
• Release and Patch Management
• Data Management Framework (DMF)
• Experience supporting production and non-production D365 environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with business users, vendors, and technical teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud services.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
• Experience supporting D365 Commerce, POS, Retail, Supply Chain, or Warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Experience with integrations using APIs, Azure Services, and middleware platforms.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305 preferred).
