We are hiring a HW DO254 Certification Expert for one of our leading clients in Sacramento, CA.

Job Title: HW DO254 Certification specialist
Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long term

Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced HW DO254 Certification Expert to lead and manage hardware certification activities for our aerospace and defense projects. This onsite role requires deep expertise in DO-254 standards and a proven track record of successful certification.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of hardware DO-254 certification for airborne electronic hardware, from planning through approval.
Develop, review, and approve DO-254 certification plans, hardware development plans (HDP), verification and validation plans, and other associated life cycle data.
Ensure compliance with DO-254 standards for all phases of the hardware development lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, implementation, verification, and configuration management.
Conduct hardware design reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure adherence to DO-254 objectives and company processes.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in hardware development with a strong focus on DO-254 certification in the aerospace or defense industry.
Demonstrable expert-level knowledge of DO-254 (Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware) and its application to complex hardware systems.
or Permanent Resident required due to government contract requirements.
