Sr. Python Full Stack Developer (PySpark)

Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)
Experience: 8+ Years
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Full Stack Developer with strong PySpark expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and data-processing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, REST APIs, frontend technologies, databases, and cloud/data platforms.

Must-Have Skills:

8+ years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Python
Strong PySpark / Apache Spark experience
Experience developing RESTful APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or Django
Frontend experience with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Strong SQL and database experience
Experience with ETL/ELT and large-scale data processing
Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms
Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills

Preferred Skills:

Databricks
Kafka
AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR
Docker/Kubernetes
Snowflake
Airflow
Microservices architecture
Unit testing with PyTest
Financial/banking domain experience

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable applications using Python and PySpark.
Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
Develop and integrate frontend applications.
Design and optimize data-processing and ETL pipelines.
Work with large datasets using Spark/PySpark.
Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business teams.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and production support activities.
