Job description

Job Title: Senior IT Business Analyst

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite, Monday–Friday)

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Extension Possible)

Interview Process: 2 Rounds – First Round via MS Teams (Video Mandatory); Second Round In

Person.

  • Local candidates within 40 miles required
  • Onsite interview required.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in IT Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, and business process improvement.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, functional/technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with BPMN, process flows, data flows, and systems design.
  • Knowledge of Operations Research, quantitative analysis, scenario analysis, and decision modeling.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end Product Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Visio, AI-enabled solutions, Agile methodologies, systems integration, and mortgage industry experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
