Full Time Nanny – Alexandria, VA

A family in Alexandria, VA 22305 is seeking a dedicated, full-time nanny to join their home and provide engaging, attentive care for their 7-month-old infant. 

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Flexible hours on Mondays and Fridays to accommodate the family's work-from-home schedule (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM) 

Family Specifications:

• Work-from-home environment
• Small dog in the home (comfort around pets required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate newborn and infant care
• Support daily developmental milestones, play, and nurturing routines
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents throughout the day
• Perform light infant-related care duties as needed

Requirements:

• Extensive newborn and infant care experience
• Fluency in English
• Current Infant CPR certification
• Driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable working with a small dog in the home

• Background or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred

Compensation:

• $25–$28 per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Paid time off (PTO) and sick days included
