Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong skills in requirements gathering, SQL, data validation, and manual testing. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams, validate application functionality and data accuracy, and support end-to-end testing throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills:

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst.

• Strong experience in manual and functional testing.

• Hands-on SQL skills for backend data validation and analysis.

• Experience with data testing, data reconciliation, and source-to-target validation.

• Experience with REST API testing, JSON, and XML.

• Strong requirements gathering, gap analysis, and technical documentation skills.

• Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and defect reports.

• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum, UAT, and regression testing.

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, BPMN, and UML.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and functional requirements.

• Prepare user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping documents.

• Perform manual testing, API testing, and backend data validation using SQL.

• Execute test cases, identify defects, and support defect triage and root-cause analysis.

• Support UAT, regression testing, and post-deployment validation.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and data teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, financial services, federal, data migration, or enterprise integration projects.

• CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.

• Familiarity with Figma or Balsamiq.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Important: Candidates must be available to work onsite in Baltimore, MD, five days per week. Local Baltimore/DMV candidates are strongly preferred.
