Job Description
A financial services organization in New Jersey is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Jersey City.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (1-2 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis
- Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams
- Support testing, training, and deployment of new systems and enhancements
- Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with Excel, Visio, JIRA, or Tableau
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills:
- Business Analyst certification, such as CBAP or PMI-PBA
- Experience supporting risk technology initiatives
