Salesforce Business Analyst

Title: Salesforce Business Analyst.
Location: Pontiac, MI.
Duration: 2+ Years Contract (Hybrid – Minimum 2 days onsite per week).

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Oakland County’s Application Services team in a hybrid work environment. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business processes and needs, develop requirements, support application development and enhancements, coordinate testing, and assist with production support.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-motivated critical thinker with strong business analysis, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, including application upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements.

Required Qualifications (4+ years):

• Experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Services
• Experience with SharePoint Online
• Experience with Microsoft Teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience developing use cases, process flows, and test scripts.
• Experience with business process analysis and process re-engineering.
• Experience coordinating application testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience supporting applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of information technology concepts and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production application issues.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process analyses and needs assessments to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Develop business requirements, use cases, process flows, and test scripts using industry-accepted practices.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement and process re-engineering.
• Work with programmers and technical teams to identify user needs and translate business requirements into application solutions.
• Assist in adapting user procedures to support final application and program designs.
• Organize and facilitate application testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure application solutions meet the needs and requirements of the business community.
• Support multiple application upgrades, maintenance efforts, enhancements, and internal initiatives.
• Provide second- and third-level support for production incidents involving multiple applications.
• Facilitate troubleshooting with internal technical teams, business users, and external vendors.
• Track reported production issues through resolution and closure.
• Develop and maintain appropriate business analysis and project documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, vendors, and other technical resources.
• Work on multiple projects and priorities concurrently in an Agile environment.
