The Role • Fabricate and install pipework systems of various sizes and materials including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel. • Utilise a range of hand and mechanical tools for cutting, bending, and welding pipes. • Install utilities such as sinks, showers, and toilets aboard vessels. • Assemble and install fittings, valves, and related components according to technical drawings and specifications. • Collaborate with other trades to ensure project completion. • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures. What You'll Need • A Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). • Proven experience in pipe manufacture and installation using appropriate tools and equipment. • Solid knowledge of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications. • Understanding and application of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements. • Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial environment.
