Pipefitter | Kilmarnock, United Kingdom | On-site | £38,662 per year

The Role
• Fabricating and installing pipework systems using various materials, including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
• Utilizing hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes.
• Installing utilities such as sinks, showers, and toilets aboard vessels.
• Assembling fittings, valves, and related components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborating with other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Adhering to strict safety regulations and company procedures.
What You'll Need
• Possession of a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in pipe manufacture and installation using relevant tools and equipment.
• Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements, with the ability to apply them.
• Prior experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
