IT Business Analyst

Title: IT BA
Client Industry: Petroleum
Location: Hybrid in one of the following locations - San Antonio, TX / Findlay, OH / Galveston, TX / Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6+ Months - possibility of extension

Must-Have Qualifications
Strong experience as an IT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Proven experience gathering, documenting, and managing complex business and technical requirements.
Experience supporting large enterprise transformation or technology programs with multiple workstreams.
Strong vendor management experience, including working with multiple technology vendors and/or system integrators.
Experience working on initiatives involving legacy system integration and new technology implementation.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively across business, IT, vendor, and technical teams.
Comfortable operating in a complex environment with a large volume of requirements and dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting refining, oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial operations, or operational technology environments.
Experience with large-scale digital transformation or operations transformation initiatives.
Exposure to projects involving centralized operational data, dashboards, visualization, workflow, or "single pane of glass" solutions.
Experience participating in vendor selection/RFP processes.
Experience working with multiple vendors and a systems integrator on the same program.
