Hybrid/Local Govt PM (PMP/CSM/CompTIA A+) with Power BI (must), Change Management experience

Location: Cayce, SC (DPH)
Duration: 12 Months
Interview Process: 2 Rounds of Virtual Interviews Work Location: Hybrid. Onsite expectations depend upon project needs and can be expected to range between once per month and once per quarter with little notice. Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed.

Required Skills (Rank in order of Importance):

• 15+ Years of Experience with Project Management
• 10+ Years of Experience with State or Federal IT Projects
• 10+ Years of Experience with implementing Project Management Systems
• 8+ Years of Experience creating Power BI Dashboards
• 10+ Years of Experience with Change Management

Preferred Skills (Rank in order of Importance):

• Experience with Public Health Software Implementations

Additional Skills:

• Experience with working around multiple stakeholders and maintaining clear communication

Required Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration

Required Certifications:
PMP or CSM

Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA A+

Scope of the project:
This position supports the agencys project management and governance functions, including implementation of the new Project Management System, portfolio oversight, dashboard reporting, user training, and stakeholder support. As the PWA is decommissioned, the role will provide expertise in system implementation, project visibility, organizational change management, and leadership of strategic projectsaligned with the South Carolina Department of Public Health.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting large-scale technology and business projects, maintaining project management standards and best practices, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and enhancing project management maturity across the organization.
