Interview Process: 2 rounds — Microsoft Teams, then mandatory onsite

Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead requirements, process optimization, and delivery support for HR, Payroll, and Position Management initiatives in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate excels at translating business needs into clear, testable requirements and partnering closely with Product, Development, QA, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements elicitation and documentation (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, RTM).
- Analyze current- and future-state processes; identify gaps and recommend workflow automation.
- Manage and refine backlogs in Azure DevOps (epics, features, stories, traceability).
- Collaborate with QA to create test scenarios/cases; support defect triage and test coverage.
- Plan, coordinate, and support UAT through execution and sign-off.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL to support requirements and testing.
- Partner with HR/Payroll/Position Management stakeholders to translate needs into actionable solutions.
- Produce clear process maps, data dictionaries, and release-ready documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide delivery/status reporting.

Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Business Analysis experience in enterprise application projects.
- Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, BRDs, user stories, and process analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in QA documentation and UAT planning/execution.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data validation practices.
- Experience with workflow automation.

Preferred:
- Domain experience in HR systems, payroll, and position management.
- CBAP and/or ISTQB certification.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Additional Candidate Requirement:
- Local to Tallahassee, FL or nearby and able to commute onsite 3 days/week.
- Must complete both interview rounds (virtual via Microsoft Teams and in-person onsite).
