Test Automation Consultant - SAP/Tosca :: Hybrid :: W2 position

Job Title: Test Automation Consultant – SAP / Tosca
Location: Houston, TX
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Consultant with strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca to support large-scale test automation initiatives across SAP and non-SAP applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and improving automation frameworks, increasing test coverage, managing test automation environments, and collaborating with testing and development teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead test automation initiatives for SAP and non-SAP applications using Tricentis Tosca.
• Work closely with the Test Manager to plan, develop, and implement effective automation strategies.
• Identify suitable test cases for automation across SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, web-based, client-server, and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD and continuous testing processes.
• Manage test data creation and maintenance through automation frameworks to support different functional testing requirements.
• Review test cases regularly to identify new automation opportunities and improve overall test coverage.
• Perform defect analysis, participate in defect triage, and prepare test execution reports.
• Handle Tosca DEX administration, configuration, customization, and upgrade activities.
• Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new tools, technologies, and automation practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve testing efficiency.
• Follow Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and ensure alignment with quality standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca Test Automation.
• Experience implementing automation solutions for SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Knowledge of SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, web-based, client-server, and mobile application testing.
• Experience with Tosca DEX administration, configuration, customization, and upgrades.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
• Familiarity with API automation and at least one programming language, such as Java or C#/.NET.
• Experience with test management and DevOps tools such as qTest Manager, HP ALM, Azure DevOps (ADO), Rally, or LiveCompare.
• Knowledge of test data management, defect tracking, and automation reporting.
