Avanciers seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our manufacturing and quality assurance team.

Job Title: Engineering Technician – VFD Testing
Location: New Berlin, WI (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension/Full-Time Conversion)
Job Description:

We are seeking an Engineering Technician with hands-on experience in electrical laboratory testing and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) compliance testing to support engineering and product development projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing for VFD products.
• Support product development testing and laboratory operations.
• Operate laboratory test equipment, analyze measurements, and document results.
• Assist engineers with test procedures, documentation, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in an electrical-related field.
• 1+ year of hands-on UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing experience with VFD products.
• Working knowledge of VFD design and operation.
• Experience in a laboratory or product development environment.
• Proficiency with laboratory test equipment and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn, grow, and work onsite.

Additional Information: Travel may be required up to 15% annually. One in-person interview.
